Nice-to-Haves

Well, ang hirap ng wala kang source of income.. =( It's been a month.. at birthmonth ko pa yun! Tapos this coming month, I don't even know kung susweldo ako agad. Owel. Life. Sometimes may pera, madalas wala. Hahaha... Not that mukha akong pera, but let's face it, who doesn't need money? Lalo na kung may fixed kang binabayaran monthly.

But just in case maka-raket ako at makabawi ++, these are the things that I'd like to have:

• Shopping with mom (as in ipagsha-shopping ko sya lang! =)
  
• DVD drive/writer (replacement ng sira kong drive - almost 10k din kasi =C )
• OS X Leopard
• bright headlights (para makita ko na yung mga humps.. at di na ko masyado tumalbog. hehehe)
• car repaint (para di na sya magmukhang gusgusin lagi. =D)
• cellphone
• ipod and accessories
• new tv
• travel
  

Pero sa ngayon, necessities muna - bills, bills, bills! Hehehe...

DCS Gimik

Tuwing sembreak lang! Summer, October and Christmas breaks lang! Kaya kahit busy, sige samantalahin ang chance! (",) So last October 25, the DCS faculty went out for dinner/videoke. It served as bonding activity for the old, new, leaving and returning faculty members. It's just sad that some members were not able to join us - some were checking requirements for the deadline of grades the day after, some were busy with their racket, some went out of the country, and some were simply not available on the date.

Aside from being a sem-ender activity, the event served as a celebration for many other things - successful defense of the thesis proposal of Rina, Mike, Riza and Chris; birthday celebration of Mike, Joyce, Rina, Becca and Loraine (although she wasn't able to join us); and despedida of Pio.

We had fun! Busog syempre, at napakanta ang mga di kumakanta. Hehehe... =P

End-of-Year Post

No, it's not the calendar year.. t's a post to sum up the nth year of my life.

Well, it was a year of ups and downs...

• .. the year where I experienced the worst depression of my life
• .. the year when I wanted to hide from all the people I know
• .. the year of self-discovery
• .. the year where I accepted that failure is part of our lives
• .. the year when I felt the love and concern of my family the most
• .. the year that I faced what I really feel and when I realized that the people who matter won't mind and the people who mind don't matter
• .. the year that I realized that I should go back to the one thing that I love doing the most

I may have stumbled, but the important thing is, I am getting back on track. =)

Thought for the coming year: There is always sunrise after sunset, there is always sunshine after storm, there is always light after brownout..

ER Experience

It's been a while since my last post, I realized.. but I don't have anything to share, no new ideas either.

Nwei, I've been resting these last few days. I was diagnosed to have an infection and I'm now on antibiotics (eeew..) It was Sunday night when I experienced severe abdominal pain and nausea. And lower back pain woke me up Monday morning!

And since I had to go to the office last Monday, I just ignored the pain and tried to go on with my day. However, the pain became unbearable when early afternoon arrived. It was then that I first experienced going to the ER! And if you're gonna ask me, I don't wanna do it again! Hehehe... I don't know why I repel hospitals. I hate going to one, unless it's just for a visit to a relative or a friend.

But I'm better now, the pain is still there but it's less now. The rest helped. I had no choice nwei since my energy level was low (I don't like resting too much, btw). And I'm hoping to go back to my normal health next week.. Til my end-of-year post! ;-)
